Key Environmental Management Themes
Key Environmental Management Theme (1)
- We are actively engaged in the recycling business for used wafers.
We collect used wafers from our users and recycle them 100% into reclaimed wafers, solar cell wafers, and aluminum additive materials. This allows us to convert wafers that were previously disposed of as industrial waste into reusable resource. We actively engage in such environmental impact reduction activities.
Key Environmental Management Theme (2)
- The wafer cassettes for delivery are collected from each user, cleaned and reused.
- Cassettes that are no longer usable are reused as transfer cassettes between associated processing companies.
Key Environmental Management Theme (3)
- Reduction of electricity usage
- We promote reducing air conditioning electricity consumption and encourage turning off unnecessary lights by properly managing indoor temperatures, and engage in activities to reduce Class A electricity consumption.
- Switching to ultra-low emissions vehicles
- We contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions by switching our sales vehicles to eco-friendly vehicles (government green procurement gasoline cars) .
- Reduction of office paper usage
- We use recycled papers for essential office copy papers, and for papers that are no longer needed, we reuse them by copying on the back side in order to reduce paper consumption.
- Environmental education for employees
- Employee education on environmental management is conducted at each workplace based on our training programs. In addition, we aim to promote environmental improvement not only within our business operations but also by raising each employee’s environmental awareness in their daily lives.
